Investment Advice Process
We have an initial discussion with a potential new client to build an understanding of their financial circumstances and objectives to establish whether our Investment Advice would be of benefit.
Investment recommendations respect clients’ personal preferences. Some clients want to invest in certain geographical areas or industry types. Other clients want to ensure their money is invested in Ethical Investments or Socially Responsible Investments, which follow certain Environmental, Social and Governance criteria.
When our Investment Advisers are commissioned to provide Investment Advice, we produce a personalised recommendation report. This includes assessment of objectives, attitude to risk, and tolerance for loss. Where appropriate existing Investments are reviewed to ensure ongoing suitability. Independent research is carried out to highlight the best plans, and tax wrappers to meet your objectives. A personalised Investment portfolio is created taking account of client specific requirements such as economic opinions and ethical considerations. Our Investment Advice is presented by an Investment Adviser to ensure a full understanding of why the recommendation is suitable.
Our Investment Advisers implement the recommendation by amending existing plans or creating new plans if required. Investment Advice typically includes: Product Application, Processing Documentation, Issuing Policy Documents, Switching Funds on Existing Plans and Trust Advice if appropriate.
Investing involves risk and the value of investments and the income from them may fall as well as rise and is subject to change
