About The Chatsworth Practice

The Chatsworth Practice is a family business created by David Skinner in 2006. David has practiced as a Financial Adviser for over 20 years.  Trained by St James’s Place Wealth Management, David is an investment and pension specialist. David recognises the importance of Independent advice tailored to individual clients.  After working with high net worth clients from St James’s Places’ London and Nottingham offices, David relocated to the south coast over 15 years ago and set up The Chatsworth Practice dedicated to providing Independent Financial advice.

All clients have a direct relationship with David. We provide regular face to face meetings to help ensure that our clients have a source of trusted advice as their lives develop.

Company Secretary

Keith started his financial services career in 1984 as a Financial Adviser and mortgage specialist with Legal and General, before becoming a partner of St James’s Place Wealth management in 1997. He left St James Place in 2007 to be our mortgage specialist.

Now semi retired, Keith is our Company secretary.

In his spare time Keith enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, friends and family. He is interested in motoring, reading, music and good food.

Director and Founder

Previously a Partner at St James’s Place Wealth Management, David left in 2007 to create The Chatsworth Practice Ltd. His specialist area is providing bespoke investment and pension management to clients.

In his spare time David enjoys spending time with his wife, children and dog. They enjoy outside activities around Bournemouth, Poole, Studland and the New Forest.

David’s interests include political and economic history and history of art, David enjoys music, and is a pianist and saxophonist. David graduated from Hull University in 2001.

Practice Manager

Cordelia is our Practice Manager. She provides client relationship management. Cordelia makes the business run smoothly. Her roles include preparation for client meetings, practice management and client record keeping. She is currently training to become a Financial Adviser.

Prior to this role, Cordelia worked as an NHS Staff Nurse in a variety of roles and hospitals in the UK.

In her spare time Cordelia enjoys spending time with her husband, children and dog. She enjoys outdoor activities in Bournemouth, Poole Harbour, Studland and the New Forest.

Cordelia enjoys reading, music, gardening, cooking and spending time with friends and family. Cordelia graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2007.
